Passport/proclamation of the ship *Suvorov* — addressed 'á nuestros buenos amigos y vecinos, los nobles y honrados Españoles habitantes de Cal.' The RAC under Tsar Alexander I invokes the long Russo-Spanish friendship, the 1812 Veliky Luki treaty, the Battle of Vitoria (21 Jun 1813) (Jourdan's baton, 130 cannon taken), Napoleon's catastrophe in Russia, the Spanish-prisoner 'Regimiento Imperial Alejandro,' Wellington crossing the Pyrenees; recounts Rezanov's 1806 SF visit & the bid to open commerce between California and the RAC colonies at Kodiak & Sitka; references the 15 May 1810 RAC proclamation [= C329]; names Baranov at Sitka dispatching a brig of goods. Concl. (n407–408, tomo 1405–10): they now send the *Suvorov* under Capt. [Lazarev] with supercargo Herman Mollers[?] and a cargo, hoping California will trade; signed by the RAC directors under Alexander I. [Fuller companion to C329.]
