Provincial State Papers, Benicia (Military), tomo I–XIX · BANC MSS C-A 15, document 289

⚠️ *I'm inferring* — but the parentage (b. near Tepic, son of Jerónimo) and Savage's own marginal note tying him to 'Mariano G. Vallejo, Comandante General de Cal.' make this almost certainly the enlistment of Ignacio Vicente Ferrer Vallejo, father of Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo. Orig. p.128.

The originals of these records burned in the 1906 San Francisco fire. What survives is Thomas Savage’s 1870s copy, and this page describes that copy.
