- Previously read Dated 1812-04-01.. Full-resolution crop (blind sample audit #52/200, 2026-07-18): "1813. Ab.l 1. Mont" — April 1, 1813. The return reports strength "durante año de 1812" (a year-end return filed the following April), and follows a Dec 1812 entry on the same leaf.
The originals of these records burned in the 1906 San Francisco fire. What survives is Thomas Savage’s 1870s copy, and this page describes that copy.
