Recovery of stolen stock: the party captured some NM thieves and recovered many animals in the valle de los Tulares near Arroyo Grande — of these 75 mules, 30 mares, 11 horses belong to Mission San Luis Obispo (may reclaim them); two SLO neophytes — Lucas & Coronado — appear as accomplices, whom Carrillo asked the Gefe Político to hand over for prosecution. Orig. pp.486–7.

[the tomo is given as the volume’s full range: this entry has not been resolved to a single tomo within LXIX–LXXVII]Cite the document by series, tomo and original tomo page, as the literature does; the C-A number locates it in the repository. To cite this catalogue entry itself, use https://archivesofcalifornia.com/record/ca19/ca19-d229.htmlThe originals of these records burned in the 1906 San Francisco fire. What survives is Thomas Savage’s 1870s copy, and this page describes that copy.
