Verbatim heading: '829 = Dbre 28 = S. Miguel / Solis a F. Pacheco'. Verbatim text

Dep. State Papers, Benicia (Military), tomo LXIX–LXXVII · BANC MSS C-A 19, document 284

Verbatim heading: '829 = Dbre 28 = S. Miguel / Solis a F. Pacheco'. Verbatim text: 'Se dice qe sabe qe Echeandia va con 150 hombes a poner orden; qe esten alerta y qe mande polvora y artillos a S. Franco.' Gloss: Solis reports word that Echeandia is coming with 150 men to restore order; they are to be on the alert, and Pacheco is to send powder and gunners to San Francisco. The month capital is a D and not an S: it matches the D of 'Dbre 31 = Angeles' on n136 and differs from the S of 'Sbre 4' on n129 in the same hand. [orig cite: autos; no p. cite written on the leaf]
