Escobar asks how to replace a regidor who has taken another office: 'Que Como ha de hacer para remplasar al regidor de ayuntamiento que fué nombrado receptor del puerto de S. Francisco?' [= how is he to replace the ayuntamiento regidor who was named receptor of the port of San Francisco?]. Cite carries Savage's binding note (mala encuadernación) flagging the original pages bound out of order.
