Departmental State Papers, San José, tomo I–III · BANC MSS C-A 44, document 367

Duplicate entry, marked (Dup.). Verbatim: «Decreto relativo a la ceremonia q. debia observarse, al entrar el Vice Presidte a desempenar el poder ejecutivo. (Vease p. 112 [?].)» Gloss: the same ceremonial decree entered at n256-n257 under 31 March 1833. Savage heads it «1833 - Abril 31 - Mejico», an impossible date; almost certainly a slip for Marzo 31. His cross-reference digits read 112, but the matching entry stands at his extract pp. 103-104.

The originals of these records burned in the 1906 San Francisco fire. What survives is Thomas Savage’s 1870s copy, and this page describes that copy.
