How to cite this document
Pablo Vicente de Sola to the Comisionado del pueblo de San José, Monterey, 1822 Jan 8, Feb 16, Apr 27, Departmental State Papers, San José, I–III, pp. 484. 485. / pp. 486. 487. / p. 488, Archives of California, C-A 44, Bancroft Library, University of California, Berkeley. [the tomo is given as the volume’s full range: this entry has not been resolved to a single tomo within I–III]Cite the document by series, tomo and original tomo page, as the literature does; the C-A number locates it in the repository. To cite this catalogue entry itself, use https://archivesofcalifornia.com/record/ca44/ca44-d707.htmlThe originals of these records burned in the 1906 San Francisco fire. What survives is Thomas Savage’s 1870s copy, and this page describes that copy.
