State Papers, Missions and Colonization, tomo II · BANC MSS C-A 53, document 79

Previously catalogued only within a grouped entry; itemised by the 2026-08-27 coverage audit. ⚠ Note: the concealing band does name this document in passing, so it was not wholly invisible; what was missing is a record of its own. It lay inside the span of a grouped entry covering n148-n162, which passed every coverage check while concealing it. Heading verbatim: '1834 Julio 12 Mont. / José Antº Carrillo, Franco de Haro, José A Estudillo' [= Arbitrios commission's redrafting of the first three propositions] Opens 'Redaccion de las 3 primeras proposiciones qe la comisión de Arbitrios presentó y se pusieron á discucion en sesion de 10 del corrte retirandolas con este mismo fin, para presentarlas en la sesión de hoy.' Art. 1 sets 6 pesos for the concession of a solar of 100 varas square for dwellings, and 2 reales per vara of frontage on a proportional or reduced scale. Art. 2 provides that propios lands assigned to each pueblo be subdivided into medium and small proportions and leased or given in censo enfitéutico at public auction, present holders paying an annual censo fixed by the Ayuntamientos on the report of three men 'inteligentes y de providad'. The redrafting of the third proposition, on timber, is suspended to the next session.
