Pedro de Alberni — 'Relación de la Artillería, pertrechos y municiones que existen en la batería de San Joaquín.' — ⭐⭐ Inventory of the artillery, equipment & munitions of the Castillo de San Joaquín, 31 Dec 1796 (two years after the 1794 build), signed Lt.-Col. Pedro de Alberni. The figures do continue onto n158 (I earlier thought only the title was copied): includes 2 mounted field cannon ('2 cañones de Campaña montados'), 600 gunflints, 12 arrobas of powder, 18 of balls, 4 of munitions (4-pounder shot). ⚠️ The full gun list may be abbreviated by Savage — for the complete inventory cite the original St. Pap., Sac., MS., ii. 112–16. ⭐ A datapoint for the SF battery's armament late 1796 (cf. the 1820 '8 cannon, 2 broken' in the presidio-decay dossier). → the presidio-decay dossier, the 1793 Bodega failure, the Bay Area borderlands dossier.
