Legislative Records, tomo I · BANC MSS C-A 59, document 67

Previously uncatalogued — recovered by the 2026-08-27 coverage audit: the document lay inside the declared span of a grouped entry covering n322-n341, which had passed every completeness check while concealing it. Heading verbatim: 'Mont. Victoria's decree on Carrillo's petition: with the enclosed certificate of safe-conduct the petitioner may remove to whatever destination he pleases, so long as it is not in or near this Territory.] Victoria's decree endorsed on Carrillo's protest. Signed '- Victoria -'. This is the administrative disposition of the very document d53 catalogs, and it has no record of its own. ⚠ METADATA CORRECTED 2026-08-27 after independent verification: the date and author as first published were wrong. Date taken from the signature block on n323. Author = Pablo de la Portilla, Comandante Militar de San Diego, inserting verbatim Manuel Victoria's oficio of Monterey, 6 Nov 1831 (so 'oficio de 6 del corriente' = 6 November 1831); the referenced ocurso is of 17 September 1831.
