Legislative Records, tomo II · BANC MSS C-A 60, document 108

Previously uncatalogued — recovered by the 2026-08-27 coverage audit: the document lay inside the declared span of a grouped entry covering n220-n245, which had passed every completeness check while concealing it. Heading verbatim: 'O 1833. = Sbre. 22. = Sn. Diego. / Instancia de vecinos de Sn Diego sobre creacion de autoridades Municipales.' [= 1833, September 22, San Diego. Petition of the vecinos of San Diego for the creation of municipal authorities.] The petition itself, copied out rather than merely abstracted. The text begins 'Los C.C. José Antº Estudillo, Juan B. Osuna, Franco Mª Alvarado, Ma…' — the named signatories are the San Diego citizens who asked for municipal self-government. This is the foundational petition behind San Diego's ayuntamiento of 1834 and is worth a full transcription pass.
