SESSION ACTA Heading verbatim: '+ 1834. = Febrero 3. = Mont. / Juan Mª Osuna (no dice á Quien.)' [= 1834, February 3, Monterey. Juan María Osuna (does not say to whom).] Abstract: 'Haber nombrado Srio del Ayuntamiento a José Mª Mier y Teran.' Osuna reports the appointment of José María Mier y Terán as secretary of the ayuntamiento. The year reads 1834 clearly on the leaf, although the entry sits among 1835 items; I have not resolved which ayuntamiento is meant and do not assert San Diego. The surname compound is my reading of a difficult hand: the initial letter matches Savage's M in 'Mª'.
