Maldonado.] Abstract: 'Haber aprovado el ayuntamiento el sueldo de 20 $ mensuales á Srio.' The ayuntamiento approves 20 pesos a month for its secretary. Set against the 50 pesos voted the Diputacion's secretary in 1834 (p. 517), this gives the municipal-to-territorial salary ratio.
