Jimeno tells Stevenson he has written Padre Blas [prob. Blas Ordaz, inferred] to take charge of Mission San Gabriel on the missions' former terms — the padres by right curadores of the Indians, not secular administrators. Church-vs-secular administration during the military government. Recovered 2026-09-02.
