San Diego (fund.

Fr. Junípero Serra to Virrey Bucareli, México, 1776-09 (sin día), Provincial State Papers, I, 210 (Sav: pp.502–503), Archives of California, C-A 1, Bancroft Library, University of California, Berkeley.Cite the document by series, tomo and original tomo page, as the literature does; the C-A number locates it in the repository. To cite this catalogue entry itself, use https://archivesofcalifornia.com/record/ca1/ca1-d1790.html- Previously read Published under ca1-d92, whose row had two documents fused into it.. 2026-08-29: C-A 1 line 142 carried TWO documents in one table row. Because the parser anchors the trailing block from the right, ca1-d92 was publishing THIS document (San Diego's founding, 16 Jul 1769, dia del Triunfo de la Santa Cruz) as its summary, while the record's own subject, Virrey Bucareli's 1776 comunicacion, sat unreachable in the middle of the row. The row has been split: ca1-d92 is now the Bucareli comunicacion, and this San Diego document has its own id. A citation of ca1-d92 made before 2026-08-29 for the San Diego text should be read as ca1-d1790.
