Heading: 'Solicitud de permiso pª retirarse' (spans n218-n219). Rosalío, mason (albañil), pleads 16 years' service at S. Blas 'y mas en el Ejtº de la Península; de qe se halla inválido y achacoso', asking leave to return to San Blas with his family and the grade of inválido. Borica same date: Rosalío 'tiene casa, tierras y ganado, donde y de qe vivir', would do better going to S. José or Villa de Branciforte than to San Blas; last year a man from San Blas was foisted on him 'con el caracter de pariente' — 'no con el mejor fin — á su modo de entender — pues qe la muger de Rosalío, nada tiene de Lucrecia'. Savage: both are copies made by Borica and sent to the viceroy for decision.
