How to cite this document
J. Mª Mendoza, Arizpe, 1833-09-17, Dep. State Papers, Benicia (Military), LXXVIII–LXXXVIII, p.782–3, Archives of California, C-A 20, Bancroft Library, University of California, Berkeley. [the tomo is given as the volume’s full range: this entry has not been resolved to a single tomo within LXXVIII–LXXXVIII]Cite the document by series, tomo and original tomo page, as the literature does; the C-A number locates it in the repository. To cite this catalogue entry itself, use https://archivesofcalifornia.com/record/ca20/ca20-d174.htmlThe originals of these records burned in the 1906 San Francisco fire. What survives is Thomas Savage’s 1870s copy, and this page describes that copy.
