'18... (1 doc.) - Captura de 2 indios de establecimiento Ruso.' Capture of two Indians belonging to a Russian establishment. That is the whole of Savage's text: no names, no place of capture, no ship. Nov 1806 is the Rezanov/Juno year and six years before Ross, so these are most likely RAC Kodiak/Aleut contract hunters, but the leaf does not say so.

How to cite this document
Gobr al Virrey, Sn Diego (carried), 1806-11-18, Provincial Records, VIII–X, p.247, Archives of California, C-A 25, Bancroft Library, University of California, Berkeley. [the tomo is given as the volume’s full range: this entry has not been resolved to a single tomo within VIII–X]Cite the document by series, tomo and original tomo page, as the literature does; the C-A number locates it in the repository. To cite this catalogue entry itself, use https://archivesofcalifornia.com/record/ca25/ca25-d583.htmlThe originals of these records burned in the 1906 San Francisco fire. What survives is Thomas Savage’s 1870s copy, and this page describes that copy.
