'Sobre remisión de capitán de buque apresado' — de resultas de haberse hecho á la vela con su fragata el capitán Don Nicolás Noé p.a S.n Blas, remite el pliego original con las disposiciones que tomó p.a asegurar el buque [apresado] y adjunta inventarios y declaraciones que dio el capitán: 'Que Capitán de dicho buque se llama Jorge W. [C]ayres[?] — es [Noble?] Americano y hace nueve años le dejó en tierra en P.to de Monterrey una fragata Americana q.e hacía comercio de contrabando; q.e en dicho P.to se le recogió y se despachó á México; y á poco tiempo reapareció en las costas de Alta Cal. y se ha mantenido del contrabando, recorriendo los establecimientos Rusos.'
