Abstract: amid the families' distress the troops stay loyal 'á pesar de haber cumplido 6 años qe no se les paga sus sueldos'; on 26 Jan 1815 his predecessor and the Intendencia de Guadalajara were told those cajas would meet the pay of the 4 companies; the interim habilitado general in Mexico, Tente Corl Ygnacio Ormaechea, was to buy the effects; on 4 June he asked a third time for effects, pay and munitions 'sin resultado'.
