Previously read date_text: '1807-06-01'. Leaf read: 168036074_80_8_2 n210 (stamp '210', hand '209'). Heading '+ 1807 - S.ta Barb.a / Gob. (á José Estudillo)' confirms author, recipient, place. DATE = WRONG. Magnified, the entry reads verbatim 'Junio 11 - Composturas de la esplanada del Pres.o - p. 690.' — two distinct digit-1 strokes, matching the '1' forms in 'Feb.o 14', 'Mayo 15' and 'Ag.to 17' elsewhere on the same leaf. The catalogue records 1807-06-01; the leaf gives 11 June 1807. The summary ('Composturas de la esplanada del presidio') and 'p. 690' are exact. OMISSIONS = OK: the leaf's four entries (Feb.o 14 '5 docs' pp.688-9; Mayo 15 Cirujano Benítez, no page footed — correctly recorded as '(—)' on doc 772; Junio 11 p.690; Ag.to 17) are covered by docs 771-774.

The originals of these records burned in the 1906 San Francisco fire. What survives is Thomas Savage’s 1870s copy, and this page describes that copy.
