Jones): Alvarado avisó qᵉ el 19 Oct á las 5pm anclaron en Monterey un navío y una corveta de los EE.UU., intimando rendición con 800 hombres; Micheltorena llama á «derramar hasta la última gota de sangre», excita á levantar á los hombres, declara á Los Ángeles su cuartel general y base de operaciones, ordena desembarcar armas en San Pedro y traer los cañones de SD; el qᵉ no se presente «será declarado enemigo de la patria y expatriado»
