Entry verbatim in full: 'Manda doc.tos sobre eleccion de alcalde y sindico en la villa de Branciforte afin que impuesto de ellos, nombre un alcalde auxiliar que quede sujeto á su ayunta.to' Gloss: forwards the papers on the election of an alcalde and a sindico at the villa of Branciforte so that, informed of them, the Monterey ayuntamiento may name an alcalde auxiliar remaining subordinate to that ayuntamiento. This is the order that produced the Branciforte settlement recorded at n394 (Branciforte left aggregated to Monterey).
