Heading (marginal +): 1836 = Monterrey / Mar.o Chico al alcalde 1.o J.e Ramon Estrada. Entry: Mayo 27 = Mando un bando sobre que se le presenten todos los estranjeros para que de cuentas. Gloss: Chico transmits a bando requiring all foreigners to present themselves so that he may render an account of them. This is a SECOND, later foreigner-registration bando, distinct from the 7 May noticia general de todos los estranjeros already summarised in the existing coarse row; the 27 May piece is not in the export.
