Heading verbatim: '1773 - Agto. Diego y Monterey.' Begins mid-leaf n322 and runs on past n325 (art. 13 is still open at the foot of n325) — span n322-n325, end not in this range. Art. 1 refers to the two testimonios appended: 'uno del Nuevo Reglamto. Art. 2 names the commander: 'á nombrar al Capn. Dn. Ferndo. Rivera y Moncada pr. Comte. de Sn. Diego y Montey.' Art. 3 enjoins harmony with the friars: 'qe. siga con aquellos Religiosos la mejor armonia'; art. Art. 7 lays down siting rules for a mission poblacion — not exposed to river floods, with drinking and irrigation water, timber and firewood nearby; art. 8 orders Indians taught to build houses 'ya sea de Adobes, ó de piedra', each with a huerto; art. 10 orders that 'las casas se hagan á cordel, con calles anchas, y buena plaza pa. los mercados' since mission pueblos may become cities; art. 11 orders stock-raising and tree-planting fostered near the new missions. 13 extends the same repartimiento power to the other pobladores 'segn. su merito, y lo qe. puedan trabajar'.
