GLOSS: Viceroy Revilla Gigedo to Governor Arrillaga, on the bonus for the troops who worked on the presidio construction. SUBSTANCE: he has ordered this Treasury to deliver to Capt. D.n Man.l Carcaba, Habilit.o Gen.l de Presidios de Californias, 5,200 pesos so that he may provide the memorias de efectos with which the troops who worked on the material fabric of the presidios are to be rewarded, arranging the memoria of the Monterey presidio at 1,600 pesos and those of the others at 1,200 pesos each. The distribution is to be made precisely to those who worked on those fabrics, or to their heirs, and he is to be given punctual notice of the repartimiento when it is carried out.
