Heading verbatim: '1800. Dbre 18 Megico. / Marquina al Gob.or Int.o de Californias.' Gloss: standing reporting order on enemy shipping. Abstract: informed by the report of the Comandante de las armas of the nuevos establecimientos that a frigate of 10 guns was sighted; the warnings given on that account seem good to him; and that to however many national vessels reach the ports of that peninsula, whether or not warships, everything occurring with enemy ships cruising in those seas must be communicated.
