Abstract verbatim: 'Que remito la lista, y estado de fuerza correspondiente al presente mes, q.e han arribado los buques y estan continuando la descarga, q.e el Cabo Berdugo apreso a los Indios Melchor y Juan de Dios q.e promovieron la especie de matar a los soldados, como a Jose M.a el Corregidor.' Gloss: monthly return plus the arrest by Cpl. Berdugo of the Indians Melchor and Juan de Dios, who put about the idea of killing the soldiers, and of Jose Maria the corregidor as well. Sbre is read as Setiembre on Savage usage elsewhere in this volume (Nbre, Obre, Dbre); the letter itself is the only evidence of the month.
