Superior Government State Papers, Benicia, tomo XIX–XXI · BANC MSS C-A 58, document 41

Previously uncatalogued — recovered by the 2026-08-27 coverage audit: the document lay inside the declared span of a grouped entry covering n40-n52, which had passed every completeness check while concealing it. Heading verbatim: 'V 1827 = Marzo 29 = Mexico. / Victoria a Salgado. - Arancel.' [= 1827, March 29, Mexico. Victoria to Salgado. Tariff.] A heading-only entry: Savage gives the dateline, the sender and recipient, the subject word 'Arancel', and the page cite, with no abstract of the contents. The page range is the notable fact - twenty-nine pages, pp. 660 to 688, of the original volume, by far the longest item in this run and evidently the full text of a customs tariff. Savage's marginal mark here is a 'V' rather than the '+' used on the other entries on this leaf; I record that as observed without interpreting it.
