[= 30 December 1832, Los Angeles: it is decreed to send the government the documents on Victoria's malfeasance and to close the Diputación's sessions] Opening verbatim: 'En el Pueblo de Mª Sª de los Angeles de la Alta Cal. á los 30 dias del mes de Dice de 1832, en la sala consistorial de dicho pueblo se reunieron pª celebrar sesion los vocales de la Exma. Diputacion Ciudos. Pio Pico, M. G. Vallejo, José J. Or[tega, Antº Mª Osio y Santiago Argüello]'. The President states that the Corporación must end its functions the next day, the term of part of its vocales having expired and the elections to renew it never having been held 'pr. oposicion de una parte del Territº.', and that the body may therefore act to vindicate its honour 'de los ultrajes qe. ha recibido de los enemigos de la representacion popular'. It resolves that on 1 January the President shall write to Capt. Zamorano 'haciendole protesta en forma y responsable pr. el entorpecimtº. qe. ha causado á la demarcacion de su mando militar, pª la eleccion de Diputados al Soberano Congreso de la Union y los Territoriales prevalido de la fuerza armada; qe. ya qe. tan escandalosamte. ha violado la ley de 12 de Junio de 830, se le esite á qe. deje á los pueblos qe. tiene oprimidos pr. la fuerza en libertad de proceder á las predichas elecciones; qe. se le repita qe. solo la fuerza de las armas ha podido hacer qe. se haya arrogado facultades de Gefe Politico, faltando á la Constitucion y leyes'. On Vallejo's motion it further orders an oficio to the ayuntamientos of the Territory carrying 'la noticia de no existir ya la Exma. Diputacion del Territº., quedando con esto el pais sin representacion', and demands from them acknowledgement of the circulars sent 'en el tiempo mas critico'. The act is then suspended, the members cited to close the sessions the following day 'y quede disuelta en conformidad de las leyes'. This is the self-dissolution session of the Alta California Diputación, the day before the 31 December session already catalogued as d47.
