‘Fundacion de una nueva Mision.’ — ‘Dice queda enterado p.r su nota 24 Agosto de su aprobacion p.a q.e se funde una nueva Mision en el intermedio de la del Rosario y S.to Domingo, eligiendo sitio con su acuerdo, asi como p.a aumento de ocho plazas á aquel Presidio (Loreto) p.a escolta de la referida Mision y como tambien de la llegada de los $1.000 q.e asigna el Art.o 2, tit.o 15 del Reglam.to p.a el avio temporal de Misiones y labranza.’ [Gloss: approval to found a new Baja California mission between El Rosario and Santo Domingo, 8 added presidial plazas at Loreto for its escort, and the $1,000 mission-founding allowance.]
