Sobre acopio de bastimentos. Has been buying supplies while awaiting the ship; ‘q.e el Javeque había de haber traído maiz y frijol, pero el P. Valdez se enojó, creyendo q.e el barco los había proveído del prim.o’ [the xebec should have brought maize and beans, but P. Valdez took offence believing the ship had already supplied the maize]; he will send the Loretana instead ‘p.r q.e piensa q.e es muy costoso conseguirlo en aquellas Misiones’ [buying it from those missions is too dear].
