Sobre fuga de un padre. P. Fr. José Herrero being ordered to Loreto as Confesor, the charge fell to ‘el P. Fr. Ant.o Berraguero, quien se fué en una de las canoas q.e regresaron del buceo, llamada S.n Rommaldo, sin licencia ninguna’, the canoe under Ant.o Romero, who had orders to embark no one. Ortega opposes his return, quoting the original (underlined): ‘q.e al servicio del Rey y de Dios no es necesario q.e vuelva, p.r q.e no es pasa [para?] el caso p.r su mala cabeza y no haber bastado las correcciones de su Prelado’.
