Traslada órden R.l q.e le comunicó el Conde de Alange en 7 de Abril, issued on representations by veteran officers of the milicias de Yndias that the Rl. órden de Feb.o 13-89 (barring petitions for the pay of brevet rank where the petitioner already draws the pay of his actual post) should not cover them. S.M. resolves the order is not to be applied strictly to veteranos de Asambleas and Planas Mayores veteranas de Milicias, but such petitioners must have 24 años de servicio en su clase actual efectiva y en la próxima anterior; those promoted without serving the intermediate grade must have the 24 years in the higher one, counting by clases efectivas not by grados, unless important war service intervenes.
