SESSION ACTA Heading verbatim: '1834 = Julio 22. = Mont. / Diputacion Territorial – Sesion del dia de la fecha.' [= 1834, July 22, Monterey. Territorial Deputation. Session of this day.] THE SESSION THE BAND RECORD IS ANCHORED TO (the catalog summary quotes this heading as 'VERIFIED vs scan n11'), but it still has no record of its own. Prior acta read and approved. Account given of the dictamen presented by the comision de Misiones 'detallando las bases que ha creido conveniente para llevar á efecto el proyecto de administradores en las misiones del Territorio.' Sr. Carrillo (D. C. = Don Carlos Antonio) asked that the stages prescribed by the reglamento be dispensed with and the dictamen put immediately to discussion. THE VOTE: asked whether Carrillo's proposition be taken into consideration, 'estubieron por la afirmativa 3 Sres. y por la negativa 4.' The dictamen was therefore held as of first reading only and the session raised. A recorded 3 to 4 division inside the Diputacion on the pace of secularization. Closes 'p 12.'
