Vocal Pio Pico proposed 'que por conducto del Gefe Politico, se invitase al Sr Dn Jose M.a Hijar a que si no tuviere inconveniente manifestase a la Corporacion, instrucciones que tenga de la Superioridad.' Approved. This is the Diputacion's own move to get sight of Hijar's instructions, the day after Figueroa laid the Hijar papers before it.
