SESSION ACTA Heading verbatim: '+ 1835. = Sbre. 26. = Mont. / Diputacion Territorial' [= 1835, September 26, Monterey. Territorial Deputation (session record).] Prior acta approved. The session took account of an 'oficio de P. José Mª de Jesus Gonzales sobre nombramiento de Comisario de Policia en Mision de Stª Clara' (a letter from Fr. José María de Jesús González on the appointment of a police commissioner at Mission Santa Clara); 'Paso á Com.n de Gob.n' (referred to the Committee on Gobernación). A direct secularization-era document: the Franciscan of Santa Clara corresponding with the Diputación about who is to exercise police authority in the mission district. The last session held before Governor Figueroa's death on 29 September 1835.
