'(1836) / Jun. 16'. On Rafael Gomez's excuse from serving as diputado the following was approved: 'Que se interese por el S. Pres.te á nombre de la Junta excitando su patriotismo á fin de que se preste á pertenecer á esta corporacion y la ausilie con sus luces' [that the President intercede in the Junta's name, rousing his patriotism so he will consent to belong to this corporation and aid it with his lights].
