Legislative Records, tomo III–IV · BANC MSS C-A 61, document 211

Previously uncatalogued — recovered by the 2026-08-27 coverage audit: the document lay inside the declared span of a grouped entry covering n216-n245, which had passed every completeness check while concealing it. Heading verbatim: '+ Oct.e 1.o - Ang.s / (Sesion &.)' [= 1845, October 1, Los Angeles. Session, etc.] Opens with the second reading of the Comision de Valdios dictamen reported in the preceding session. On n239 the substantive business: an official note of D. Juan Malarin, Ex-Ministro del Tribunal Superior de Justicia del Departamento, dated 20 August, complaining of injustice by the Assembly for having stripped him of the Magistratura he held in propiedad by appointment made in his person by Gral. Micheltorena in virtue of the ample faculties with which he was invested; passed to the Comision de Arreglo de Tribunales. Then a note of D. Juan Bandini returning and declining the appointment of 1er Ministro del Tribunal Superior de Justicia, pleading his incapacity for the post. The President states that the Corporation must be struck that, notwithstanding the Governor's great desire to establish the Tribunal de Justicia, it had not been possible to do so because the persons designated to form it had not accepted. Runs n237-n240.
