Proposición and 5-article proyecto of vocal F.co Figueroa, spans n350-n352: 'Siendo notorio el gran perjuicio q. constantemente estan haciendo los indios á los Ranchos de la Demarcacion de los Angeles con los robos frecuentes de caballada'; art.1 establishes a 12-man detachment contracted for a year or more 'en el parage llamado el Cajon' under a comandante 'sin mas objeto q. el de contener á los indios ladrones'; art.2 authorises a loan and a donativo from the ranchos; Gob. names the comandante, supplies arms, fixes pay. 'Admitido - pasó á la Comision de policia.'
