Acknowledges Pineda's communication of the 7th and its bando; as he was assembling the pueblo to publish it the US commander sent him: 'Impuesto que ha recibido una proclama ó Bando del Sr Tente Pineda, intitulado Gobernador Militar de la Baja California, y dando sus ordenes en conformidad. Savage marks it (sic).
