[a] 1827 congressional election at the capital San Diego: the *junta de electores de partido* (Vicente Sánchez, Francisco de Haro, Carlos Antonio Carrillo, Estevan Munrás, Zamorano) convened 16 Feb under the bando of 4 Nov 1826; 18 Feb (after Mass & *rogativas*) they first named Pablo Vicente de Solá propietario, but a challenge to Solá's current residency (art. 19 §2; convocatoria 17 Jun 1823 / decreto 19 Jul 1824) triggered «una larga discusión»; on re-vote they unanimously elected Capt.
