⚠⚠ ENTRY VOIDED 2026-09-22: the document this entry described does not exist on its leaf or anywhere in the volume, and the leaf's real documents are separately catalogued (see below). The id is retained so its permalink does not 404, and its erratum of 2026-09-22 records the original text. Do not cite this entry as a document. The real documents on leaves n257–n258 are the schoolmaster-for-grumete exchange (p.197) and the appraisal of the Princesa's shortfalls (pp.198–199, with its diligencia following), both catalogued separately.

Correction to this entry.
- Previously read summary: 'Monthly Dec; artillery inventory report; family evacuation plan from pueblo'; orig_page: 'p.166–170'; scan: 'n257–258'. n257-n258 (stamps 260-261) carry the mutual exchange of posts between the schoolmaster Jose M.a de Toca and the grumete Jose de Medina of the Princesa, Medina judged 'mas regular que el otro y de mejor letra' and also a bell-founder (p.197), and the appraisal of shortfalls in the victuals and effects brought by the Princesa, 19 p.s 1 r.l 6½ g.s against the Real Hacienda, witnessed by alf.z Pablo Cotta and the pilot Menendez (pp.198-199, with the full diligencia following). No December monthly report, artillery inventory or family evacuation plan at the claimed pp.166-170.
The originals of these records burned in the 1906 San Francisco fire. What survives is Thomas Savage’s 1870s copy, and this page describes that copy.
