Substance: that among the documents supporting the account of R.l Hda. de 1784 (the words de 1784 are written as an interlineation above the line by Savage) there is found a receipt of the former governor Pedro Fages for his salary of $1.434; that he remits an expediente justifying the averias; and, concluding at the head of the next leaf, that he received the tercio de bulas mandado al Pres.o de Loreto. The Fages salary receipt is the substantive item: it places a $1.434 salary voucher of the former governor inside the 1784 royal treasury account.
