Palou sin abierta [abrirla?], pr qe él (Moraga) se lo previno así; qe él ha interpretado mal su órden, qe todo cabo de Partida recibirá cuantas cartas le entregaren, cerradas y las entregará á su comandᵗᵉ, y así lo prevenga á Burgones.' [The escort corporal refused to receive P. Palou's letter unopened per Moraga's order; Moraga misinterpreted the order — corporals must receive all letters closed & deliver to commander.]
