GLOSS: Borica offered the British navy captain, commander of the war-armed frigate Providencia now at Monterey, whatever aid he needs to continue his navigation; consequently if he tries to put in on those (southern) coasts on pretext of provisions etc., do NOT permit it, much less landing people; do this courteously ('acomedidamente'); ensure exact compliance, notifying the escorts so no one is ignorant of it.
