Heading: “Sobre cesion de los terrenos de S.n Buenav.ta [= Buena Vista, cf. n342-n343] por sus vecinos á los P.P.” Body: acknowledges their 3 Dec. letter on the shortage of cattle for want of advantageous sites, and the supporting opinion of Ten.te D.n José Raymundo Carrillo; the padres ask that the inhabitants of Buena Vista be ordered off after the coming harvest so the mission may occupy it. He refuses: “no me atrevo á dar semej.te prov.a de q.e se retiren los vecinos de B.a Vista, lo q.e solo podra efectuar el gob.r propietario si le pareciese conv.te”.
