Adds: troops enough to resist 2,000, «tantos supone el P. Garces qe pueden juntar las 5 principales naciones del Rio»; Fages says 1,500 Indians attacked his Real; recalls his 1796 proposal to split the gobierno in two with the new governor seated at Sta Catalina. What survives is Thomas Savage’s 1870s copy, and this page describes that copy.
