'Cuarentena. Nombram.to de PP. Catarro epidémico.' se alegra que ha sanado Lasuén; dice que el Borrico y toda la familia han sufrido de un fuerte catarro, y toda la gente de Carmelo y Sn Juan; considera que el P. Peyri y Faura le sirvan de obstáculo p. la nueva fundac. de Sn Luis; *'Nadie como Vmd. conoce lo que conviene á cada misión, y por lo que es bueno cada religioso. Apruebo los destinos propietarios y interinos dados á los 8 últimamente venidos...'*; que las providencias del Virrey contra las viruelas han sido eludidas por los religiosos que no han querido guardar cuarentena; si se llegase á propagar esa enfermedad = Lasuén responsable
